Dear Rosewood Community and Partners,
The team here at The Rosewood Initiative is taking COVID-19 and our responsibility to the community very seriously. After much deliberation, we have made the difficult decision to close the center and cancel gatherings until further notice.

BOOSTER COVID-19 SHOTS AND THIRD DOSES
We are now offering booster shots and third doses at our vaccine clinic for those who are eligible. If you do not know if you are eligible or not, you can find more information about eligibility here.
WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN A BOOSTER SHOT AND 3RD DOSE?
BOOSTER COVID-19 SHOT
A booster is a vaccine dose that may be given to someone whose immune response from the primary vaccine series begins to wane over time or to those at higher risk of severe disease or infection due to working or living conditions.
Many people can now get a COVID-19 booster dose. Proof of eligibility is not required, though providers may ask for written confirmation. People can get a booster dose at most locations that provide COVID-19 vaccines.
THIRD DOSES
A third dose is recommended to people who are immunocompromised at least 28 days after their final dose of Moderna or Pfizer. People who receive third doses should not get a booster dose.
Important: If you are immunocompromised, you should get a third dose, not a booster dose.
