At our recent food pantry before Thanksgiving, we were able to supply fresh produce and shelf-stable staples to about 125 people - our largest food pantry yet! Located in the heart of East Portland, our community garden isn’t a traditional plot system. It’s a shared, evolving space where local residents can reserve planting areas, attend workshops, participate in volunteer days, and benefit from fresh, locally grown food. From medicinal herbs to fruit-bearing trees, every element has been selected with care, equity, and long-term sustainability in mind.

Summer Play Days are here! Drop in for outdoor games, art projects, gardening, storytime, and more. Perfect for kids ages 4–12 and their families. No registration needed—just come ready to play and stay awhile. Parents must supervise during activities, and everything is completely free.
