The team here at The Rosewood Initiative is taking COVID-19 and our responsibility to the community very seriously. After much deliberation, we have made the difficult decision to close the center and cancel gatherings until further notice.
p:ear builds relationships with homeless youth, through art, education and recreation. They are open Thursdays - Saturday. They offer low-cost bike repair, and sell bikes for people to purchase, as well as other accessories!

Community Volunteer Corps (CVC) is an 80-hour program to fulfill community service requirements, gain work experience and job references. While participating in CVC you earn a stipend for your hard work and become eligible to work for Central City Concern’s Clean and Safe program. If you are interested in getting involved please come to an orientation.

Portland Parks & Recreation (PP&R) is offering private music lessons at Rosewood Initiative (SE 162nd & Stark in Portland, OR). The program, funded by a grant from the City of Portland, provides full-scholarship instrumental instruction to school-age youth in East Portland.
